Pajère
...... He received his artistic training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges, where he completed the entire cycle. Afterwards, he perfected his skills in the restoration of paintings. He now lives and works in Menen. To date, he has also carried out numerous restorations of paintings and altars of churches, to the general satisfaction of his clients. With several exhibitions in Belgium, whether under his pseudonym "Pajère" or under his own name, his paintings have gained recognition and appreciation.

"Art" That 's his life. Jean-Pierre Verhelst has been involved with art in its various facets since childhood. It is the art of painting that fascinates him most. He immediately puts a certain impression down on canvas and therefore there is little loss between the felt impression and its reproduction on canvas or paper. (C.D.W.)
Pajère :
"I always paint symbolic works, always with a story behind it. My works are always about life. And they also reflect a certain positivism. I always use brilliant, bright colours, they have to reflect happiness."
Undeniably, this painter is a humorous man. He knows how to enjoy life, to portray its beauty or denounce its weaknesses. His eloquence clarifies the basic idea, but he knows better than anyone how to depict his images, which have ripened in the mind, in a hallucinatory way. (F. De B., 2004 - mentioned in the books of Belgian artists - Piron publishing house)

Self-made, bright and vivid colours reflect joy.
